Ok. I'm a little slow. I've been wondering why my comments never create a link to my blog like the other comments here. I must have made a tiny little error on my url address the first time I commented. Now you can find my exciting blog...LOL!

I've experienced similar Christmas light woes. Last year we purchased a pre-lit fake Christmas tree after years of cutting our own. So far...it still works, but I'm a little nervous about it.

Your wreath looks beautiful.

We always end up getting new strands at Walmart....every year...at least one strand for each thing I'm decorating it seems!! I'm like you. They just don't last!! Fortunately, at $1.88...we can't complain too much! The wreath looks very pretty!

Hey, I saw a commercial the other day for a new tool for (supposedly) fixing burned out lights on a string. I'm not spending (wasting) my money on it, but they do make such a thing now! Our lights are going on 4 years, but they are on a fake tree that goes up for about 3 weeks, then goes back in its original packaging and into storage until the next year.
