Bill, I used the lens that came with the camera. (I bought a kit) It is a 18-105mm lens 3.5-5.6. I also bought a Tamron 70-200 2.8 lens which I am hoping to use today. That one weighs in at a hefty 3 pounds, I think. Considered to be a real heavyweight, I love it, as I actually like a heavy camera setup.
