The Earth Ablaze in Color
I know I have featured some of the beautiful scenery near our home in the past, but these are a few of the photos I shot today….some this morning (rather dark shots!) and some this afternoon. All of these photos were taken within five miles or so from our house.
I wouldn’t say we are “lucky” to live where we do, but rather “privileged” to do so!

Oh Kae… your pictures are beautiful. I love the barn!! But why do utility companies have to ruin such serene settings with their stupid poles and lines?? lol

Terri, yeah, that barn might well have been erected well before electricity came through! It is a gorgeous barn with tons of character. I especially love the fieldstone foundation.
I was told the utility companies that own the poles *like* the unsightly monsters as they collect fees from leasing utility companies for each pole…..
