It has been windy here, too. I *love* that one photo of the sky and trees ~ just gorgeous! BTW ... we heard that Circuit City is going out of business. You might be able to stock up on some awesome deals at that Circuit City in the picture! LOL! :)

Jackie, since the wee Scotts have such wee short legs, they don't seem to mind the wind. They sure are cute, though, with their beards blowing about!

Bill, I guess the fact that there are so many four lane roads here (and much larger) makes it necessary to hang the lights in the center of the road so folks see them. This road is mainly for the mall, if you can imagine. There are terrible accidents there often...people are in such a rush to spend their money, I guess!

Carly, did you see winds were clocked at 80 mph in Buffalo yesterday? Those are hurricane force...egads!

The wind started here just as I was going to bed in the morning. I woke Jeff up and told him I didn't think we were in Kansas anymore,lol... he was not amused. I thought for sure the house was going to blow away. I kept seeing the tree over the garage bob in and out of view through a small opening in the curtain covering the skylight. Fortunately, nothing too important blew away here. The recyclables are all over the back yard though. Kyle shut the gate so they would stay in our yard. On my way to work last night there were traffic lights out, but they were fixed this morning when I came home. As Owl would say, it was just a "gentle spring zephyr!"

That first photograph is lovely.

The UK is into fixed traffic lights - not suspended ones - so we don't get that sort of problem. Just power lines down, trees down .......

Luckily we're not getting that sort of wind at the moment.

That does look windy - glad you're all back indoors now. I hope the Scotties haven't got too ruffled!
