Well, being a  good Scottie mom,  I did indeed give Murph another toy. He has a cute little skunk with a squeaker in its middle and one in the tail. Murphy decided he did NOT want the skunk.

As I was consumed with something else, I suddenly heard a “tearing” noise.  AND, this is what I found!

Yes, he was actually tearing the poor little skunk apart!!!

And where is Murphy NOW???

Nothing on earth will ever rival the tenacity of the Scottish Terrier!

I often retreat to the bedroom after my morning chores are complete. This morning, I did just that and plopped down on the bed to check email. I was working away, when I suddenly heard a turkey gobbling!

After recovering from being somewhat startled, I realized  that little Mister Murphy had apparently gone into Michelle’s room and dug through her stuffed animals to find “the turkey”.

My older brother had gotten the little gobbler a few years ago…a joke from a fellow employee, as Bob spends most of his spare time hunting.

As I tried to coerce my little Scottie boy to give me the turkey, he ran and hid under the bed! At this point, I was laughing so hard, it was hard to steady the camera!

 Aha! Caught in the act!

I finally was able ro retrieve the little turkey. Poor little Murphy jumped up at the side of the bed, trying so hard to get the turkey back! After several minutes, he headed off once again….trotting off towards Michelle’s room….obviously to look for another fun toy…..
