Growing up (oh, so many, many years ago....) we were always told that the US was going to convert to the metric system. Never happened. Guess the US is a renegade country in many ways. I was going to photograph the little goldfinch, but the little bugger flew out as quickly as he came. I think he is camera shy! I was going to name the birds when I posted that entry, but Mark and the kids called me to watch a movie with them. I had already queued that entry up from earlier in the day, so I just "published" it without any further ado. Sorry for the confusion! Terri! Hope you are able to run out today….it is MISERABLE!!!!
