Photo Hunters…Music

                                    PhotoHunters

While visiting a cemetery in Canandaigua,  I came across this family marker. Do you suppose they waltzed from this world in 3/4 time?

  • What an unusual idea for this weeks theme! Unfortunately, we are in the process of looking for a headstone for our momma, she passed 2 weeks ago…I just love the idea of music on the headstone! My photos are up, please come and visit soon

That is great!! I love graveyards just because of things like that. You never know what you will find.

  • What an interesting marker and no dates on it. Must be they haven’t passed yet… perhaps they are still dancing somewhere? I hate to see markers with no dates on them or couple markers where only one person has passed and you know the other can’t be alive still. Just makes me sad that they aren’t together.

  • I hope they danced off this mortal coil. Great take on this week’s theme!

  • I think that’s very beautiful to illustrate music. Made me think of “music that hath no earthly bonds”. I think I’m misquoting part of the marriage service and it has to do with love but oh well, in this context it works. I like your choice.

  • Think is was a musical family? I find that tombstone interesting. Makes you wonder what the story is behind the musical notes. How old are the stones? Were they marked? A ton of questions, I’m sorry. Just makes the mind wander. Great photo and have a good week.
