This is indeed a lampost! I was lacking a WW entry, and when the kids went to a small town last night to see the latest “Pirates” movie, I spotted this very unique lampost! There is only one other post there like it, and they are located near a statue that apppears to be a tribute to the Civil War. Could not find any info on the statue or the lamposts, but they all look very old….Took the shot “just” as the sun was setting….
