Hey, my name, Melissa, is Greek for honeybee! Sadly, it would take a pair of nuclear powered wings to hoist my fat butt up into the air for a Flight Of The Honeybee.

    Happy WW!

A great shot I would NEVER, ever get because I’d be too busy running. :-)

As a sidenote, regarding the picture…I was recently blessed to be able to get a Nikon D-80 DSLR camera. The picture of the Bumble was actually taken about 5′ away with a telephoto lens! Having said that, last year, I had an elderly (well, in the world of electronics, anyway) Olympus camera with a micro feature on it. I was literally *touching* the Bumbles as I photographed them! They never seemed the least bit interested in me…too busy with their pollen collection! Thanks for all the gracious comments!
